Kansas Recruitment Center visits Newman University

On March 2, the Kansas Recruitment Center (KRC) hosted a resource luncheon at Wichita’s Newman University. KRC talked with students in health professional fields about what the Kansas Recruitment Center can do for them and some of the best practices for interviewing and resume building.
Tyler Doyle, sr. recruitment coordinator with KRC made sure the students knew that the services with the Kansas Recruitment Center are free. KRC, a program offered by Rural Health Education and Services, University of Kansas Medical Center, is working primarily to help keep health care providers in Kansas by helping job seekers and employers find one another. KRC regularly updates job listings from across the state of Kansas on their Web site.
Auburn Rickman, candidate relations coordinator with KRC, welcomed the students to the luncheon and shared her expert knowledge on resume writing and interview tips. Students who attended did not leave empty handed. They were able to take with them a list of interview tips and potential interview questions.
KRC was very pleased with the turnout. Approximately, 97 students and staff took part in the event.
We’d like to thank all who attended and hope we are able to help in their future job searches.
